History:

Known as the Transformation Stone, Labradorite is named after the region it was found- Labrador Peninsula, Canada.

Native Inuit tribes of North America claimed that their ancestor gave the first Labradorite through Aurora Borealis. In another Inuit Legend, a brave warrior struck a Labradorite with his spear and created the infamous Northern Lights.
